Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Albert Marvin and Maggie L. Cleveland Flatt; her first husband, Dr. J. Carmack Hudgins, Jr.; and her brother, Marvin Flatt.
A Family Nurse Practitioner by profession, Patricia was a pillar of the healthcare community, providing unwavering support and care to her patients. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her commitment to her faith. A devout Christian, she was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she served as an Elder.
Patricia’s pioneering spirit was evident in her becoming the first woman in Lawrence County to earn a pilot’s license. Her love for aviation was reflected in her long-standing membership and past chairperson role on the Lawrenceburg/Lawrence County Airport Board. She found joy in the skies and shared her passion for flying with all who knew her.
Her interests extended to the great outdoors, where she found solace and happiness in her love for horses. Patricia’s nurturing nature was not limited to her family and friends; she extended her care and compassion to her animals, treating them as part of her extended family.
