Lawrence County Deputies Make Multiple Arrests in Drug Investigation

On February 4, 2026, deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on 4th Street in Lawrenceburg. During the search, over a quarter-pound of methamphetamine and one ounce of fentanyl were discovered inside the home.

As a result, Emery Sinclair was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine for resale, possession of fentanyl for resale, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Larry Sinclair was also arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine for resale, possession of fentanyl for resale, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Amelia Sweet was arrested on two counts of attachment for contempt, along with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a prohibited weapon.

All three individuals are scheduled to appear in the General Sessions Court of Lawrence County at a later date.
