Madison Officials Arrest Man Wanted in Multiple Jurisdictions

A coordinated, multi-agency operation conducted through the Madison County, Alabama Sheriff’s Department resulted in the arrest in the arrest of 39-year-old Charles Norton.  Norton had numerous felony warrants across several jurisdictions.  He was arrested as the result of a targeted felony traffic stop in Gurley.  Charges include multiple counts of failure to appear in court, third degree escape, illegal possession of a firearm, and other charges.
