Barn Fire Reported on Canaan Road; Animals Safely Removed

Maury County Fire Department responded to a reported barn fire on Canaan Road on Tuesday, February 3, at 7:04 p.m. Multiple units were dispatched, including Engines 21 and 25, Tankers 21 and 26, Brush 21, Division 30, and Mount Pleasant Fire Department Engine 82 through auto aid.

Crews arrived to find heavy fire conditions and operated defensively. No injuries were reported, and all animals were safely removed from the barn before the fire spread, thanks to an alert neighbor. The department also thanked the Maury County Sheriff’s Office for assisting with scene safety.
