Florence Police Arrest Restaurant Employee on Sexual Abuse Charges

Florence Police Department detectives, with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations, executed a search warrant Tuesday, February 3, at Ichiban restaurant, located at 173 Cox Creek Parkway.

The warrant was related to an investigation involving an employee, Eleazar Hernandez-Trujillo, who was suspected of sexual abuse. Hernandez-Trujillo was interviewed by Florence police detectives and subsequently arrested on 2 counts of sexual abuse in the first degree.

Hernandez-Trujillo is currently being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $30,000 bond.

Police noted that Hernandez-Trujillo is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
