Giles County Sheriff’s Office Reports January 2026 Activity

In January 2026, the Giles County Sheriff’s Office responded to 786 calls for service, including 6 domestic violence–related calls. Deputies conducted 126 traffic stops, made 29 bookings, served 159 warrants, and completed 221 civil process calls. The department also reported 8 non-fatal overdoses during the month. The sheriff’s office patrols more than 600 square miles daily to help keep the community safe.
