David Alfred Eddington

David Alfred Eddington, age 73, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at his residence. He was a native of Luxora, AR, and retired from Genesco, He was a kind-hearted loving person who enjoyed flea markets, yard sales, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin and Lou Ella Lay Eddington; one brother, Franklin Eddington; and one sister, Mary Jane Moore.

He is survived by one son, Davy Eddington (Rachel) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two daughters, Angel Maxwell (Jeremy) of Savannah, TN and Shelly Prasad (Prasad) of Pensacola, FL; two sisters, Betty Davis (Jerry) and Barbara Ledlow, both of Waynesboro, TN; nine grandchildren, Hannah, Abby, Grace, Lainden, Jeya, Shelby, Priya, Savanna, and Rheyma; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, February 5, 2026, with Edd Luna officiating. Interment will follow at Napier Cemetery in Lewis County, TN.
