Betsy Wells Rowland

Mrs. Betsy Wells Rowland, age 68, of Chapel Hill, TN died Friday, January 30, 2026. Born in Pulaski, TN, Mrs. Rowland was the daughter of the late James Dugger Wells and Mary Ellen Griffin Wells. 

Mrs. Rowland was a retired Administrative Assistant in the publishing industry. She loved and thoroughly enjoyed retirement, but above all she enjoyed being a BeBe to her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her flower gardens and was an avid reader. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. 

Survived by her husband of 40 years, Bobby Ray Rowland of Chapel Hill, TN; her two daughters, Rayanna Rowland of Chapel Hill, TN and Reilly (Josh) Overstreet of Chapel Hill, TN; 3 grandchildren, Sully, Hatcher and Myles Overstreet. 

The family will receive visitors, Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 4 PM – 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Friday, February 6, 2026 at 1PM from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Rowland Cemetery near Eagleville, TN.
