Athens Man Charged With Kidnapping

An investigation in Limestone County, Alabama, has resulted in the arrest of Jason Allen Hargrove, age 41, of Athens, on charges of kidnapping, domestic violence, resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental operations.  Witnesses reported that Hargrove had assaulted a female at a Yarbrough Road home, dragged her out of the residence, and slamming her to the ground multiple times before forcing her too leave with him.  Hargrove was transported to the Limestone County Detention Center to await further legal action.
