Gov. Bill Lee said Tennessee agencies continue recovery efforts while preparing for another round of freezing temperatures expected this weekend.

According to the governor, TDOT crews have treated, re-treated, or plowed more than 500,000 miles of roadway and trimmed more than 1,000 trees. The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency has delivered more than 600 units of warming supplies, 250 cots, and over 2,200 gallons of gasoline and diesel fuel.

The Tennessee National Guard has assisted more than 550 stranded Tennesseans, while the Tennessee Highway Patrol has answered more than 2,000 calls and assisted nearly 1,000 motorists statewide.
