Paul R. Rooker

Paul R. Rooker, age 69, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. Paul was born on November 21st, 1956 to the late Elbert and Francis Rooker in Elgin, Illinois. Paul worked for many years in various different fields, including a school bus driver, manufacturing, and worked at Hardees in Lawrenceburg. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding in his electric wheelchair, making new friends, and spending time with his loving family and friends. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Rooker; sister, Linda Green; brothers, Wayne Rooker, Ronnie Rooker, Kenneth Rooker, and James “Jim” Rooker.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Ingram (Josh); grandchildren, Cody Ingram, Alex Ingram (Amanda), and Jade Magnus (Seth); siblings, Kathy Taylor (Jack) and Pamela Lynch (Jimmie); aunt, Barbara Mitchell; uncle, Charles Martin, several nieces and nephews, and his caregiver, Jan. 

The memorial service will be held at Flatwoods Freewill Baptist Church on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 beginning at 5:00 p.m. Brother Gary Crosby and Brother Tracy Adams will be officiating.
