Lamont “Monte” Anderson

Lamont “Monte” Anderson, age 82, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Moline, IL, retired from H & H Construction, and attended Immanuel Baptist Church.  He enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales, and was a bargain hunter.  He loved working his land and being outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Lamont and Isabel Carolyn Peters Anderson.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, GeGe Anderson of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Beth Anderson of Corryton, TN; two sisters, Mary Renee Stevens, Orion, IL and Nancy Rockhold of Millersburg, IN; two nieces, Lisa Harris of Jacksonville, FL and Caroline Bowliou of Gillespie, IL; and one nephew, Kyle Stevens of Atlanta, GA.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
