Lawrence County Election Commission to review Loretto city candidates

The Lawrence County Election Commission will meet Thursday, January 22, at 4:15 p.m. to review qualified candidates for the Loretto City Election, scheduled for April 28.

Offices on the ballot include mayor and one alderman.

During the meeting, the commission will also lock and seal absentee ballot boxes for the Loretto City Election and may address other election-related business.

The meeting will be held at the Election Office, located at 702 Mahr Ave. Citizens wishing to speak are asked to notify the Election Office in advance by calling (931) 762-7836.
