Carl Wayne “C.W.” Perry

Carl Wayne “C.W.” Perry, age 79, of Ethridge, TN passed away at his home on Monday, January 19, 2026, after an extended illness. He was a native of Ethridge, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Park Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E.P. “Bud” and Caldonia Sudduth Perry; his son, Kenneth Perry; seven sisters, and seven brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Walters Perry; one son, Phillip Perry (Joan) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two grandsons, Sean Perry (Jacki) of Cookeville, TN, and Bryan Perry of OK; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Carol Hawkins of Springfield, TN; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Those serving as pallbearers are Steve Peters, C.D. Perry, Charlie Perry, Jonathan Pruitt, John Pruitt, and David Peters.  Honorary pallbearers are Park Grove Baptist Church’s deacons, Duaine Rose, Joe Holt, Daniel Patterson, and Steve Massey.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, January 23, 2026, with Phil Perry and Ricky Cox officiating. His grandson Sean Perry will also pay tribute to his grandfather. Interment will follow at Blue Water Cemetery in Loretto, TN. Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
