For the second consecutive year, the Middle Tennessee District Fair (MTDF) has been ranked among the top three Division AA fairs in the State of Tennessee, earning statewide recognition during the Tennessee Association of Fairs Convention, held January 15–17 in Murfreesboro.

The honor was presented by Tennessee Commissioner of Agriculture Andy Holt to 2025 MTDF Fairest of the Fair, Kenzie Coleman who represented the Middle Tennessee District Fair at the annual gathering of fairs from across the state. The Tennessee Association of Fairs Convention brings together fair officials, volunteers, and leaders to recognize excellence, share best practices, and celebrate the agricultural, educational, and community impact of Tennessee’s fairs.

Adding to the significance of the event, Lawrenceburg Rotarian Heath Hill presided over the convention in his role as 2025 President of the Tennessee Association of Fairs. Hill was also recognized for his outstanding leadership and service with the prestigious Vernon Henson Award, one of the association’s highest honors.

The Middle Tennessee District Fair’s continued placement among the state’s elite fairs reflects the dedication of its board, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners who work year-round to promote agriculture, youth development, and family-friendly entertainment.  The fair has been sponsored and managed by the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club since 1950.
