New Prospect Fire Department Assists in Giles County House Fire

The New Prospect Fire Department assisted Giles County Fire & Rescue during a residential structure fire early Thursday.

According to the department, crews were requested at approximately midnight on January 15 to provide manpower and tanker support as part of a mutual aid response. The fire resulted in the loss of a home.

Fire officials said their thoughts and prayers were with the family affected and noted they were glad to assist Giles County Fire & Rescue during the incident.
