Maury County Fire Department Responded to More Than 2,200 Calls in 2025

The Maury County Fire Department responded to a total of 2,209 calls during 2025, according to year-end call volume data released by the department.

Medical calls accounted for the largest share, with 796 responses. Firefighters also handled 360 motor vehicle accidents, including 34 vehicle extrications, and responded to 71 structure fires during the year.

Other incidents included 54 grass or brush fires, 21 vehicle fires, 10 heavy equipment fires, and nine cooking fires. Crews also responded to 79 fire alarms, 23 gas leaks, 17 trash or dumpster fires, and conducted 67 smoke investigations.

Additional calls included 38 authorized burns, 26 public service calls, and 289 responses that were canceled while en route.

Department officials highlighted the wide range of emergencies handled throughout the year, underscoring the department’s ongoing role in fire suppression, emergency medical response, and public safety across Maury County.
