Huntsville Man Arrested on Child Porn and Sex Abuse Charges

On Tuesday, members of the Huntsville Police Department, FBI, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, and Madison County Sheriff’s Office arrested Huntsville resident John David Higgins, age 53, after receiving a tip regarding possession of child sexual abuse material inside the home.  Higgins is charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12, and first-degree possession of marijuana.
