Rachel Caitlin Workman

Rachel Caitlin Workman, age 37, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Rachel was born on July 4th, 1988 to the late Jimmy and Rhonda Smith in Lawrenceburg. She worked for many years as an LPN for Buffalo River Services. She was well known for her wonderful sense of humor and her genuine kindness. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Monopoly Go, riding her motorcycle with her husband Jason, listening to music, taking care of others, and spending time with her loving family and friends. She was  of Baptist faith. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal great grandparents, Pauline and Ervin Vandiver; maternal great  grandparents, Etha Jacobs Jackson Adams and Craig Jackson. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Jason Workman; children, Caleigh Workman, Ryleigh Workman, and Jamie Workman; brother, Ryan Smith; as close as sisters, Adrien Higgins (Elmer),  Amber Higgins (Michael),  Alanah Carrow (J.R.), Buster Cottrell, and Savannah Workman; paternal grandparents, Judy and C.W. Vandiver, and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

The funeral service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Brother Steve Flippo will be officiating. 

Interment will be held at Houser Cemetery.
