The Lawrenceburg City Council met Thursday, January 8, and approved all ordinances and resolutions on its agenda, including updates to refuse and trash disposal service fees, rezoning a portion of the John P. Sharp Family Trust property on Flatwoods Road from R-1 (Large Lot Residential) to I-1 (Light Industrial), the purchase of a 2025 Ford Interceptor Utility AWD for the Police Department, and declaring certain Police Department property as surplus.
The city presented a retirement award to outgoing Parks & Recreation Director Pam Hyde and confirmed Eric Shultz as the new Parks & Recreation Director.
