Barbara Fay Richardson Peters Brown

Barbara Fay Richardson Peters Brown, 86, of Loretto, TN, went to Heaven on January 7, 2026. She was born on January 5, 1940. Barbara was a Christian and a member of First Baptist Church of Loretto. She served as organist for over 50 years and taught Sunday School for all ages for 57 years. She was a loving devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Barbara was retired from Brown’s Ferry where she was the Plant Manger Administrative Assistant. She was also an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed making dresses for the grandkids.

Husband: Lenard E. Peters

Husband: Bobby D. Brown

Son: Mark David Peters

Siblings: E.C. Richardson, twins Harolyn & Carolyn, and Danny T. Richarson

Nephew: Alan Richardson

Barbara is survived by:

Sons: Scott Eric Peters and Lenard Brett Peters (Anna)

Daughter-In-Law: Beverly Harlan Peters

Brother: Mickey Richardson (Layne)

Sister-In-Law: Roberta Richardson

Visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 P.M. at Loretto First Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow in the church at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Larry Smart, Bro. Sammy Wallace, and Bro. Kevin Cheatum officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Grove Cemetery.
