The City of Lawrenceburg will host two public meetings in January and February to gather public input on its 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application.

The first public hearing will be held during the Lawrenceburg City Council meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026. The hearing will allow residents to share ideas and comments on potential projects to be included in the city’s 2026 CDBG application. Eligible project categories include community infrastructure, community revitalization, and public health and safety.

A second public meeting will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026, in the Council Room at Lawrenceburg City Hall on the lower level. This meeting will review CDBG program guidelines and gather additional public input. Eligible projects include water and sewer system improvements and community livability projects such as public health and safety initiatives (ambulances, fire trucks, sirens, clinics, EMS stations), community infrastructure (streets, sidewalks, drainage, flood mitigation), and community revitalization projects (community centers, daycares).

Residents or organizations with project ideas are encouraged to attend either meeting or submit suggestions to the City Administrator at Lawrenceburg City Hall, 25 Public Square. Suggestions may also be emailed to dmckinley@lawrenceburgtn.gov.

Both meeting locations are accessible to individuals with disabilities. Special accommodations may be requested by contacting City Hall at (931) 762-4459. The City of Lawrenceburg does not discriminate in the provision of its programs or services.
