Travis Ingram, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, at the age of 96 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Born on November 3, 1929, in Ethridge, TN, to Isaac Homer and Bettie Elmore Shelnutt Ingram, Travis was a beacon of strength and integrity to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Vivian Durham Ingram, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and memories; his daughter, Carol Verde; his son, Michael Ingram; as well as his five brothers and three sisters.
His legacy continues through his surviving children, Pamela Ingram of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Gary Ingram of Bolingbrook, IL. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his five grandchildren, Carmine Ingram, Nora Ingram, Karen Wilson, Aiden Ingram, and Ashlyn Ingram; as well as his adored great-grandson, Justin Wilson.
Travis’s work ethic was unparalleled, as evidenced by his long and distinguished career as an Inspector for Sunbeam and J.J. Tourek Mfg. His colleagues knew him as a man of great diligence and fairness, qualities that earned him the respect and admiration of all who worked alongside him. His commitment to excellence in his profession was matched only by his service to his country. Travis served honorably in the U.S. Navy, a period of his life that instilled in him a profound sense of patriotism and pride.
Beyond his professional and military achievements, Travis was a man of many interests, with a particular passion for gardening. His garden was a testament to his patience and attention to detail, and it brought him immense joy throughout his life. It was in the quiet hours tending to his plants that Travis found peace and contentment.
