Linda Sisk Gatewood, age 65, a cherished sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on December 30, 2025, at her home in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Born on July 16, 1960, in Rockford, Illinois, Linda’s life was a tapestry of love, service, and creativity that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Linda was the beloved daughter of the late Teddy Ralph and Patsy Darlene Keller Sisk. Her journey through life was shared with her devoted husband, George Frederic “Fred” Gatewood, until his passing. She also felt the deep loss of her stepchildren, Baron and Amy Gatewood. Her legacy continues through her loving brother, Jason Sisk (Beverly), her adored nephew, Kody Sisk (Rachel), and her cherished great-nephew, Pace Sisk, all of whom reside in Lawrenceburg, TN. Linda’s spirit will forever be remembered by her fur baby, Aarchi, who was a constant source of joy and companionship.
Linda’s professional life was marked by her compassionate nature and warm smile, which she shared with countless individuals as a dental assistant at Dental Bliss. Her retirement did not diminish her involvement with the community, as she continued to engage with friends and colleagues, leaving a lasting impact on all she encountered.
Those who knew Linda understood her profound love for animals, which was evident in the way she cared for her pets and supported animal welfare initiatives. Her creativity was boundless, manifesting in beautiful crafts and projects that she generously shared with her family and friends. Linda’s love for her nephews and family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she took every opportunity to express this love through her actions and unwavering support.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday, January 5, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, January 5, 2026, with Rev. Tory Shane Dillard officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Leoma, TN.
