Lawrence County EMS responded to 588 calls in December 2025, transporting 400 patients. Transfers included 53 to Maury Regional Medical Center, 8 to North Alabama Medical Center, 1 to STRHS-Pulaski, and 41 to other counties. Responders handled 112 refusal-of-care or no-care-required calls, 30 fire standby, law enforcement assistance, or mutual aid requests, and 57 canceled or no-patient-found calls. EMS crews also conducted 4 community outreach or lifesaving training events.
December call volume was slightly higher than November 2025 but below December 2024. Responders participated in continuing education through an online 24/7 system and the South Central EMS Directors Association Last Chance Conference. Seven students completed the LCHS Emergency Medical Responder program and are eligible to take the National Registry exam.
