Maury County Fire Department Responds to Residential Structure Fire

The Maury County Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire at 12:57 AM on December 31 on Canaan Road. Units arriving on scene found an attic fire with flames through the roof. A quick offensive attack contained the flames, sparing most of the home from major damage. The family will be displaced until repairs can be made, and the Red Cross was requested to assist. No injuries were reported. Responding units included Engine 21, Tankers 22, 30, and 32, Brush 32, Deputy 20, and Mount Pleasant FD Engine 82 on automatic aid.
