Loese Escue

Loese Escue, age 79, of Summertown, TN passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.  A devoted Christian mother, grandmother, and friend, she was known for her kindness, strength and ability to make everyone feel seen and heard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford and Gina Runions; her spouse of 54 years, Woodie Escue; and her brother, Thomas Runions.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Brown (Bunky) and Sherlyn Escue; two sons, Randy Escue (Brandy) and Charlie Escue, all of Summertown, TN; one brother, Bobby Runions (Diane) of Hampshire, TN; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Staggs of Summertown, TN and Pam Runions of Ethridge, TN; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and all day Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Whispering Hills Free Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted at Whispering Hills Free Church of God at 11:00 AM Friday, January 2, 2026, with Terry Potts officiating.
