DCSP to Host First Hike of the Year Event Jan. 1

David Crockett State Park will host the First Hike of the Year event again this year, allowing participants to enjoy an organized hike with a park ranger.  The hike will be held January 1.  Anyone interested in participating should meet at the park restaurant at 10 a.m., ready to participate in a moderate hike of around 3 miles, including around Lake Lindsey.  Everyone is advised to dress appropriately for the weather and bring water.
