Donald Dale Truitt

Donald Dale Truitt, 82, of Lexington, passed away December 25, 2025, at his residence.  Don  was the retired Data Processing Director for the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL, and a member of Clements Baptist Church. 

Survivors include:

Wife: Vonda Stallings Truitt

Daughter: LeAnn Newsom (Scott)

Brothers: Waylon Truitt (Brenda) & Gary Truitt (Myra)

Sister-in-law: Cheryl Truitt

(8) Grandchildren and (4) great-grandchildren 

Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins

Preceded in death by:

Parents: James Ruford Truitt & Dessie Elizabeth McGee Truitt

Brother: Wendell Truitt

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 2:00pm – 3:00pm, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.  The funeral service will follow at 3:00pm, at the church, with Caleb Gooch officiating & Jenny Kyle and Catherine Esary presenting the music.  Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be:  Tim Truitt, Eric Truitt, Terry Truitt, John Truitt, Cameron Frost & Michael Jenkins.
