THP to Conduct Sobriety Checkpoints December 26

The Tennessee Highway Patrol will conduct sobriety checkpoints on Friday, December 26.

In Lawrence County, a checkpoint will be held on U.S. Highway 43 South at the 2.9 mile marker. In Lincoln County, enforcement will take place on State Route 275 at the 4.5 mile marker. A checkpoint is also scheduled in Lewis County .2 miles west of the 1 mile marker.

The checkpoints are part of ongoing efforts to deter impaired driving and promote roadway safety.
