Limestone Narcotics Unit Makes Drug Arrest

An investigation by the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit has resulted in the arrest of 50-year-old James Alfred Kirby, Jr., of Athens.  During the course of their investigation, agents determined that Kirby was in possession of around one quarter of a pound of methamphetamine.  He was arrested on drug trafficking charges and incarcerated at the Limestone County Detention Facility.
