Huntsville PD Investigates Shooting

The Huntsville Police Department is investigating a Wednesday night shooting that resulted in injuries to a security guard and one of the perpetrators.  Two suspects wearing ski masks had attempted to break into a vehicle on the property.  The security guard was shot when he intervened.  He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  The suspects led authorities on an extended chase that ended in Scottsboro, Alabama, when the vehicle crashed.  The driver fled on foot, however the passenger, who had sustained a gunshot wound, was apprehended.  He was taken for medical attention, then booked into the Madison County Jail on multiple charges. The driver was later located and taken into custody, as well.
