Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department Releases November Activity Report

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department responded to 1,071 calls for service during November 2025, according to statistics released by the department.

During the month, deputies made 119 arrests, conducted 168 traffic stops, and worked 24 traffic crashes.

Call types included 49 animal-related calls, 32 suspicious person or suspicious activity complaints, and 16 motorist assists. Deputies also responded to 23 domestic violence calls, 16 vandalism reports, 24 burglar alarms, and 12 theft cases.

The department recorded 12 suicide attempts, 12 mental health transports, and 10 fraud cases during the month.

Other activity included 258 civil processes served, 20 funeral escorts, and one SWAT deployment. No Taser deployments were reported.
