Charles Eddy Powell, age 80 of Pulaski, passed away Sunday December 14, 2025 at Poplar Estates in Columbia.
Eddy was born in Lester, AL on March 2, 1945 to Charles Burton and Ethel Jackson Powell. He was retired from Arvin and was a member of the Veterans Alliance, Minor Hill First Baptist Church, as well as the Giles Co. Camera Club. Eddy had a love of being outdoors whether it was biking, fishing, watching his children and grandchildren play sports, spending time with his friends and family, or capturing the precious moments in life through a camera lens. Eddy loved his country as well as his family which he showed by serving in the United States Army and the National Guard. Eddy is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ethel Powell.
Visitation will be held from 10am-1pm on Wednesday December 17, 2025 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with Funeral Services following at 1pm. Interment will be in Minor Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests Memorial Contributions be made to the Minor Hill First Baptist Church.
Eddy is survived by his son Andrew Powell (Haley) of Pulaski; grandchildren Greyson and Asher Powell; brother Toby Powell (Sherri) of Pulaski; and special friends Arnold Word and Susan Drennon.
Carr and Erwin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
