Hargett Announced 2026 Civics Essay Contest for Students

Secretary of State Tre Hargett has announced that, in conjunction with the United States’ 250-year anniversary celebration, the state will hold a 2026 Civics Essay Contest for students in grades kindergarten through 12.  The them will be “Tennessee, America at Its Best.”  The submission deadlines is 11:59 p.m. on February 20.  To find out more, visit: sos.tn.gov/civics-essay-contest.
