County Attorney Charlie Holt Dies at Age 74

Mourners pay homage to longtime Lawrence County Attorney Charlie Holt this weekend.  Holt died Wednesday at the age of 74.  He had served as County Attorney for more than 30 years.  In a statement released Friday, County Attorney David Morgan acknowledged Holt’s “exceptional integrity, wisdom and professionalism.” He pointed out that Lawrence County is better because of Holt’s life and service, saying, “We will remain grateful for his lasting impact.”
