Donations Needed for Santa for Seniors Christmas Drive

The 29^th Annual Santa for Seniors Christmas drive is fully underway, and many more donations are needed to meet the needs of this year’s applicants.  Santa for Seniors provides necessities and a little Christmas cheer for up to 650 of Lawrence County’s elderly, disabled and shut-ins each year.  They are in need of many donations of non-perishable food, personal care items, adult diapers, wipes, blankets, throws, all warm things like heaters, coats, jackets, gloves and toboggans, along with toilet paper, paper towels, and many other items.  The deadline for donations is Monday, December 15.  Donations may be dropped off during business hours at WLX or the Lawrence County Advocate.  To find out more visit the Santa for Seniors Facebook page.
