Benefield Named 2025 AEMT of the Year

Lawrence County Emergency Medical Service AEMT Karen Benefield was recently recognized as the 2025 AEMT of the Year by the South Central EMS Director’s Association at their Last Chance Conference.  Benefield is in her 29^th year of serving as an EMS provider.  Lawrence County EMS’ Paramedic Michael Wright was also nominated for the 2025 Paramedic of the Year award.
