Florence PD Arrest Man on Sex Offense

The Florence Police Department reported an arrest Wednesday in connection with a recent sex offense investigation.  The male victim had reported he was sexually assaulted while he was sleeping.  The suspect was identified as 43-year-old Florence resident Daniel Story.  The Lauderdale County Grand Jury has returned an indictment, charging Story with sodomy in the first degree.  Story was subsequently arrested in Ohio and extradited back to the Lauderdale County Detention Center where he is being held without bond.
