Lawrenceburg Gears Up for the 70th Annual “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” Parade

Lawrenceburg, TN — The holiday season in Lawrence County will kick off in grand style as the community prepares for the 70th Annual Christmas Parade, set for Saturday, December 6, 2025. This year’s theme, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” promises a fun and festive celebration for spectators of all ages.

Parade participants will begin lining up at 3:00 p.m. at Rotary Park, with float judging scheduled for 3:30 p.m. To ensure safety along the route, road closures will take effect at 4:40 p.m., just ahead of the parade’s 5:00 p.m. start time.

The Leoma Church of Christ will begin their portion of the parade a few minutes early, stepping off at 4:45 p.m. from their staging location on North Military Avenue south of Guard Drive.

Organizers are urging all participants to enter through their designated lineup areas to help maintain smooth traffic flow. Members of the Kiwanis Club, which oversees the parade each year, will be stationed at Rotary Park beginning at 3:00 p.m. to assist participants with directions.

To accommodate families with young participants, a designated child drop-off area will be available. Parents should use the main entrance to Rotary Park and follow the signage leading to the parking area beside the grandstands, ensuring a safe and efficient drop-off process.

Now marking its 70th year, the Lawrenceburg Christmas Parade remains one of the community’s most beloved traditions. Residents are encouraged to come out, line the streets, and enjoy an evening filled with music, lights, and hometown holiday spirit as Lawrenceburg rocks around the Christmas tree once again.
