Fire and Forestry Departments Contain Maury County Fire

Maury County Fire Department crews along with the Tennessee Division of Forestry worked Friday evening to contain a brush fire on Chesnut Ridge Road.  They speculated that the fire had been burning undetected for most of the day.  A fire line was cut around the area to protect nearby trees and firefighters remained on scene to monitor the site.
