Eula Mae Townsend Graham, age 89, born on October 5, 1935, originally from Five Points, Tennessee, would like you to know that her work here is done.  She received a call.  A sort of an offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning.  This changing of neighborhoods comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends in Glory.

She was the retired owner of Eula’s Beauty Shop in Smyrna, TN.  Eula Mae made this transition on November 26, 2025, from Spring Hill, Tennessee, where she has been a resident for a number of years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgle Allen Graham; daughter, Sherry Lynn Graham; father, William Gilmer Townsend; mother, Sarah Lucille Thigpen Townsend; sister, Mary Lou “Moo” Townsend Gieske; and brother, Benjamin David Townsend.

She is survived by son, Rick (Alicia) Allen Graham of Spring Hill, TN; brother, Joseph Joe “J.W.” “Dub” (Frances) Townsend of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, William Allen Dallas (Meghan) Graham of Murfreesboro, TN; Benjamin David Carl (Leslie) Trussell of Murfreesboro, TN; Eric Allen Carl Trussell of Antioch, TN; Jonathan Joseph Brooks (Kayla) Graham of Murfreesboro, TN; twins, Dylan Barnard Dion Muncrief, Jr. and Sarah Mae Muncrief of Murfreesboro, TN; and great-grandchildren, Judah Oaks Graham and Benson Lando David Trussell of Murfreesboro, TN.  Those serving as pallbearers are Will Graham, Jon Graham, Ben Trussell, Eric Trussell, Dylan Muncrief, Jay Gieske, and JoJo Gieske.

The family wishes to thank The Reserve of Spring Hill for taking great care and extended love to her for several years.  Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday, December 1, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, December 1, 2025, with Reggie Coleman officiating. Interment will follow at Bonnertown Cemetery in Five Points, TN. Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Columbia State Community College Foundation to the Stephanie, Shirley Reed, and Joe Townsend Scholarship.  This higher education scholarship will provide financial assistance to Lawrence County High School graduates.  You can contact them at either  www.columbiastate.edu/foundation/give/foundation-scholarships.html or call 931-540-2512
