Lawrence County Government offices will close at noon on Wednesday, November 26, and will remain closed Thursday and Friday, November 27–28, in observance of Thanksgiving. Solid Waste services will also be closed on Saturday, November 29. All county offices will reopen on Monday, December 1.
Lawrenceburg officials likewise announced that city offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 27–28, for the holiday. Residential garbage carts normally collected on Thursday will instead be picked up on Friday, November 28. Residents are asked to place carts at the curb early, as crews will run a double route that day.
Loretto city offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 27–28. Garbage pickup for both days will be Wednesday, November 26.
In Pulaski, Thanksgiving week garbage collection will follow an adjusted schedule. Wednesday and Thursday’s trash will be picked up on Wednesday, while Friday and Monday’s trash will be collected after the weekend, on Monday. Residents are asked to place bins out on the correct day to avoid delays.
Pulaski Electric System will also be closed Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
