Lawrence County Historical Society Meeting Set for Thursday

The Lawrence County Historical Society will meet on Thursday, November 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the Southern Tennessee Higher Education Center.

Guest speaker Lucus Hunt will present on John W. “Jack” Hinson, a Tennessee farmer who became a Confederate sniper during the Civil War after two of his sons were executed when they were mistakenly believed to be spies.

Members are encouraged to attend, and visitors are welcome.
