Downtown Lawrenceburg has received a $120,000 multi-year matching grant to present the Levitt AMP Downtown Lawrenceburg Music Series through 2028. The award, provided by the Levitt Foundation in partnership with the Tennessee Entertainment Commission, will support free outdoor concerts beginning in 2026.
The Levitt AMP program funds 7–10 free concerts per year in communities with populations under 250,000, aiming to activate public spaces and strengthen community identity. Lawrenceburg is one of six Tennessee communities selected for the new partnership, which will bring up to 180 free concerts statewide over three years.
The Levitt Foundation will distribute more than $7 million nationally for music series in towns and cities across the country, featuring artists in a wide range of genres. Downtown Lawrenceburg, a Tennessee Main Street community, continues to focus on placemaking, historic preservation, and programming that supports a vibrant downtown district.
