Courtroom Security Committee to Meet Friday

The Lawrence County Government’s Courtroom Security Committee will meet Friday, November 21, at 10:30 a.m. The meeting will take place in the jury room inside the new courtroom space at the Lawrence County Courthouse, and the public is welcome to attend.

The committee—required by state law—includes the presiding judge, sheriff, county executive, circuit court clerk, and district attorney. No agenda has been released, but officials say the meeting will serve as a general check-in.
