Community benefit to support local mother recovering from violent attack

A benefit has been organized for Dara, a Lawrence County mother of two, who is recovering after being stabbed multiple times and faces surgery and a long recovery. The event aims to support her and her children as they rebuild. The benefit will be Saturday, Nov. 22, at 4 p.m. in Gym #3 at Rotary Park, Lawrenceburg. It will include a chili dinner and silent auction. Plates are $10 and include a drink, chili, and dessert. All proceeds go directly to Dara and her children. Donations and community support are welcome. The event is hosted by Haley Pipkin and Jennifer Myers.
