Steve and Sheila Frisbie have been selected as Grand Marshals for the 70th Annual Lawrence County Christmas Parade, which will take place Saturday, December 6, beginning at 5 p.m. in downtown Lawrenceburg. Presented by Loretto Telecom and organized by the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, this year’s parade carries the theme “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” The Frisbies are well known for their decades of service and leadership in Lawrence County. Steve Frisbie, founder and longtime owner of Frisbie Apothecary, recently passed the business to pharmacist Sam Smith after more than 50 years of dedicated service to the community. Sheila Frisbie built and operated Title & Escrow of Lawrence County for more than 25 years before retiring. Her grandson, Ben Wright, and his business partner, Peyton Sockwell, now continue the company’s locally rooted legacy. The Chamber selected the Frisbies in recognition of their lifelong contributions to local business and community service. Thousands are expected to attend the parade, which will feature marching bands, festive floats, and the arrival of Santa Claus to conclude the celebration.
