Jerry Dale Campbell, a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. Born on September 25, 1955, to Wink and Bessie Massey Campbell, Jerry lived a full and honorable life dedicated to his family, his faith, and his community.

Jerry’s life was one of service and commitment. As a retired Captain with the Lawrenceburg Fire Department, he served his community for 48 years with valor and dedication. His bravery and leadership were a testament to his character, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he worked alongside. Jerry’s desire to help others extended beyond the fire department as he also served as an EMT with Lawrence County EMS and MooreCare, providing care and comfort in times of need.

Not only did Jerry protect and serve, but he was also an entrepreneur, owning and operating Envy Tanning and Beauty Spa. His versatility shone through in his roles as a fingerprint technician, a reserve officer with the Lawrenceburg Police Department, and a committed board member for the Lawrence County School System. Jerry’s multifaceted career showcased his ability to lead, his passion for innovation, and his unwavering commitment to improving the lives of those around him.

A devout Christian, Jerry was a cherished member of the Coleman United Methodist Church. He lived his faith through his actions, always putting others before himself and exemplifying the Christian virtues of love, compassion, and charity.

Jerry’s love for his family was immeasurable. He leaves behind his loving wife, Judy Smith Campbell, and their three children: daughter Ashley DiBenedetto (Crystal), and sons A. J. Campbell (Sheena) and Kris Campbell, all of Lawrenceburg. His legacy of love and laughter will also be carried on by his nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who will miss their grandfather deeply.

He is survived by his devoted siblings, Carol Sherman, Gary Campbell, and Terry Campbell, all of Lawrenceburg. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Sharon Campbell. His memory will be a beacon of strength and love for his family.

Jerry Dale Campbell’s life was a portrait of selflessness, courage, and kindness. His absence will be felt profoundly by all who had the privilege to know him. As we say goodbye to this remarkable man, we celebrate his enduring impact and the indelible mark he left on his community and his loved ones.
