The Tennessee Department of Transportation’s Nobody Trashes Tennessee campaign has launched its fifth annual No Trash November initiative, aiming to remove 75,000 pounds of litter from the state’s roadways and waterways this month.
Governor Bill Lee has proclaimed November as No Trash November Month in recognition of TDOT’s ongoing litter prevention efforts. Since 2021, more than 480 cleanup events have removed nearly 250,000 pounds of litter statewide.
Tennesseans are encouraged to join or host cleanup events in their communities and track progress through the No Trash November Trash Tracker at nobodytrashestennessee.com. Volunteers can also participate in the Trash Masters Rewards program, earning points toward local discounts and merchandise for their litter prevention efforts.
